Apply to be a NiceTalk Tutor is easy. Register with your email address, download the app to record a short interview video, and then we will get to know a little about you and learn about your English proficiency. Just follow the instructions in the app to complete your application.

After you have been approved to be a NiceTalk Tutor, you can click GO ONLINE to start taking requests whenever you are available. Students will choose tutors from the list and make adirect-calls. When you are connected to a student, you can start your conversation by introducing yourself with a warm smile. Some students are talkative, and you can let them to take the lead. Others may be quieter, so you would need to lead the chat. When you feel like running oujt of topics, you can ask them details about their lives, jobs, families, interests, and so on. You can also pick up some topics from IELTS or TOEFL.

When you talk to a paying NiceTalk user, you get paid for each full minute you spend talking to them. Your hourly wage is $10 US dollars per hour. After you become our new tutor, you will receive our welcome prize for $10 US dollars immediately in your NiceTalk account. And during peak hours, you may get extra bonus for every minute you spend talking to students (these promotion activities may vary periodically and you will be informed via email updates or notifications.)

You will need a PayPal account to get paid. Please fill out your PayPal email under “My Earnings” and verify the confirmation link sent to your PayPal email. We will pay you every week, as long as you have a balance above $20. The cutoff time is Monday, 3:00 AM GMT+8. You will receive money automatically in 3 or 4 business days(according to Chinese business calendar).
